Wolky Nimes

"Little dated....Comfortable as other Wolky's (I have about 20-25 now) but less stylish. Straps are overly wide for being really cute, and look kind of floppy. Might've been a fashion statement 20 years ago, but if you're looking for 'cute' these take a distant second to the Avalon, Liana, Jewel, Scarlet(!), etc. I think they could almost be considered unisex as I've seen guys with a number of similar styles. I have a hard time with the back strap, too, fastening it on the outside of my heel is awkward, but I don't like adjusting the velcro front straps once they're perfect! That said, I *love* these anyway, have the red now, and blacks should arrive in a day or so. Nice to have a just-comfortable not-to-wild pair of shoes for just hanging around! I find all Wolky's fit a bit small, but most are adjustable enough that ordering your regular size OR the next up will both work. Now if Zappos would only get the Wolky Bellona! HINT! They're not available in the US apparently (I ordered 3 pr. from Holland). Now there's a sandal with some *attitude*!!!"

Wolky Serenity

"Ahh, basic Black...Recently got the white serenity's, and wrote review where they seemed to be a bit too "attention getting" to wear to the office, for the same reason I don't wear my red napa thigh-high boots and a leather mini to the office! Don't need Security dragging you out in 'cuffs for causing a riot! :-) That little white triangle REALLY bulls-eye's your attention on your feet and toes, and I'm a bit self-conscious in the office! Well, I got the BLACKs yesterday, and they're much more subdued - still *incredibly* adorable, drippingly girly and delicate, but don't think they'll draw quite as much attention as the white. Zappos came through here, too - day before yesterday, got a Zap-package in the mail, dying to try the blacks, and WAAAAAAAAA! Some dumpy pair of sneakers mis-labeled! Called customer service about 6:30 PM, and by mid-afternoon the next day, the REAL serenity's had showed up! Anyway, trying to hold off getting another serenity for a bit, as I try to get only 2 or 3 Wolky's a month (most of the time, blown this month), but now I need to get the reds, periwinkle, and brick. Oh yeah, and *another* pair of those outrageous *whites*. See you at the water cooler (but not in my whites!)"

Wolky Scarlet

"No more sore feet and ankle bones!!!I wear the Wolky "Scarlet" because it is the only Wolky with a removable inner sole. I replace the sole with my orthotics and now I can wear a fashionable shoe that has all the support and comfort I need as I have a serious foot problem. Prior to finding the Scarlet I was resigned to only wearing oxfords 90 percent of the time. Thank you Wolky. More colors needed."

Wolky Liana

"The most comfortable - When I started wearing my Lianas (after a short break-in period) I thought I'd gone to heaven! I tramped through Greece and Tuscany in them. They got a bit scuffed up, esp. along the front of the sole where it's wrapped in leather, but hey--stones are hard on shoes. I have bunions, so normally find it hard to find a comfortable sandal, but these were outstanding, lightweight, and pretty attractive too!"

Wolky Kite

"Comfortable and adjustable - Have worn this all summer in comfort. The ties and the adjustable heel strap allow you to fit the shoe to your foot. Plenty of forefoot and toe room! Good support, even in the arch and stability. I have red and I love it."

Wolky Jewel

"Need more of these!I got the red Jewels a while back, and like, *wow*. They are some sort of super cute, and the curvy wedge sole gives me a bit of extra height (not like my Maddens or Candies, but every little bit helps...). Wear them mostly with jeans; don't seem to have matched up a skirt or dress with them yet. Denim (or black leather pants) seem like the best bet so far. I want more colors of them, too, but they are a bit pricey, and just got some other cool Doc's, so these'll have to wait. Fantastically comfortable for walking on hard surfaces like concrete, too. Straps give you a perfect fit. I find Wolky's run a bit small compared to others, so I order up when available, although the smaller size has worked out fine in a couple cases as well. I need to get the periwinkle, and the black now; seems like they used to offer white, too but not seeing them in the list. Maybe they'll get some new colors next spring..."

Wolky Guild

"Nice shoes, no prize though - Recently got these, and have been wearing a lot at work. They're adequate for hanging around the office, but don't fit as well as most of my other Wolky's (I have a dozen or so). In particular, there's no "heel pocket"--the closed back of the shoe seems nearly dead vertical. So, my heel wants to slide up and down enough to be annoying when I walk, though it hasn't caused a blister, it's still noticeable. Even reefing the straps down tight doesn't cure this. Nice shoe for the office, as I'm SURE I'd get comments/eyebrows for wearing my platform Maddens or 'Vogs in. Anyway, nice shoes, not going to take long hikes in them, look moderately cool without being overkill. Like most Wolks, they run a tiny bit short, so if you're a half size, might order next one up. "

Wolky Serenity

"A little bit much, but like 'em a LOT...Well, set off to get a nice casual sandal for work, hanging out. Have a Rockport sandal with similar straps, and those work well for those things. So I ordered the serentities in white. Got them, and WOW!!! There's something about these that makes them appear (to me anyway) a bit over-the-top sexy! Shows the toes in a whole new light! Gone is the idea of wearing 'em to work, and even waiting for a special occasion to wear for my SO. I think I'll order more colors soon, to see if the more subdued colors (tan?) are a bit more suitable for the office. And a red pair, just to accentuate what I found about the whites. These fit about the same as other Wolkies I've had, slightly short length (1/2's order up), but generous width."

Wolky Liana

"Very well made comfortable sandals - I had a problem all summer finding sandals that fit most were too wide. These Wolkys are great because all the straps are adjustable, very comfortable for walking and they also look good too. Zappos service is the best."

Wolky Scarlet

"You can count on Wolky - This is my third pair of Wolky's (all purchased from Zappos, of course), and once again I'm a satisfied customer. These are as comfortable as sandals get, at least in my experience. They look okay, kind of innocuous, and lack the distinctiveness in looks that you get with many Wolky's -- nobody's yet stopped me in the street to ask where I got them. I'll certainly be buying more Wolky's in the future!"
