"Must be European, sizes run small - A great shoe by looks but I had to return it because their supposed wide shoe was anything but. Can't say anything more because I had to return the shoes since they didn't fit."

"Nice soles!!!!!The Catalyst is a good shoe, I'd say a really good shoe; the sole in it is very well designed and made with this special compound(stealth)wich seems to be the toughest. Good shock absorbtion too. Vasque seems to run somewhat large (they are just a bit smaller thay montrail--1/2 size larger)."

"Not for wide feet - Perhaps Vasque is new to us folks with truly wide feet. In NB, I wear a 13 EEEE. And (e.g.) I know I will never be able to wear a Reebok. That's ok, they just don't make a last for my feet. But plenty of others do. Saucony, Timberland, Propet. I just have to put Vasque on the list of shoes that will probably never work for my big 'ol dogs."

"Great overall boot...Haven't had a chance to get these out on the trail yet, but overall fit feels fantastic, and the construction of the boot is great. Wanted to get this review up to let people know to expect them to be sized very large. I usually wear 11 or 11.5 and ended up going with a 10.5 for a perfect fit."

"Highly recommended - A really good hiking boot. Mine have been hiking in Minnesota in winter, scrambling over volcanic tuff (read really nasty, sharp, scratchy rock) in the desert, and logged several hours hiking, at times swimming, in a river--and suffered only a few superficial scratches. I didn't notice my feet getting cold hiking in winter, either.They were recommended to me as running narrow (I have narrow feet), and I think they are a bit narrow, but I think Vasque makes them in wide, too. I also think they might run big, since I bought a smaller size than I usually do."

"Vasque - The lightspeed was not as comfortable as I wasexpecting. They are very breathable but kind ofstiff. Getting them on and off is sort of a pain.They look pretty tight though and you will getcomments all day if you get the yellow. I would make this purchase again."
