It's a decent looking shoe at a reasonable price. In the past I have had waterproof lace ups by Bass and by Johnston & Murphy. The Bass I liked the best, I've had them since about 1995 & they are still waterproof & wearable even now. The Johnston & Murphy lost its H2O repelling powers in its second season, so not as good as the Bass."
