"Great all around boot for everyday wear - I've been wearing the Pit Boss for a long time and find it the most comfortable shoe to wear for bad back/hip/double jointed ankles. My only complaint is that the ankel support wears out before the rest of the boot, but I still get a good three months out of a pair, which is better than I do only any other type or brand of shoe or boot. It's really a shame about the ankle support not lasting longer because the rest of the boot is good for at least six months of daily wear. Other than that, the boots are a tad heavy, weighing in at four pounds the pair, but if you have strong thighs or want to strengthen your thighs it's a plus. For those of you looking for Pit Boss Pro's go to Boot Country and save $16.00 over Zappos price. Boot Country also gives free shipping."

"Keep your feet safe, dry and happy!These Timberlands are probably the best steel toe, water-proof boots you can find anywhere. I just recently purchased my second pair. My first pair lasted me a little over a year with constant exposure to water, mud, and unfinished concrete six days a week. Also, let me add that I never cleaned them or added those special oils or lubricants that they recommend using and I still got a good 13/14 months use out of them. As far as comfort goes, they are as comfortable a boot as you will find and I spend roughly 14 hours a day in them. I definitely will purchase this boot again in another year or so."

"Another great product from Timberland - I've had plenty of Timberlands. They are the best! I wear them for work, school and just general knocking around in. My summer job is working the asphalt crew paving streets. These boots take that kind of abuse and keep my feet comfortable all day. If they weren't covered with tar, I could just wear them right out in the evening for running around. You can't beat Timberland comfort and durability. This pair is no exception. I get a pair in the fall for college, wear them thru the winter, then wear them right into the summer for work, then the cycle starts again. I'll be back for more when this pair wears out."

"I was quite surprised and disappointed to find out how incredibly uncomfortable these boots are. Poor inserts. Minimal cushion. The boot looks fine and the sole is tough as nails, but this boot will lay a beating on your heel, ankles and toes. After several years of use, I wore out my wolverines. They were great,never a blister and confortable all day. After several long days with these Timberland Pro Pit Bosses, I have blisters on both big toes and both little toes, as well as abrasions on inside of both ankles, and incredibly sore heels. What can I say, if you like pain, buy these boots. As for myself, I will be buying another trusty pair of wolverines and throwing these away!"
