About Taryn Rose: Taryn Rose changed the footwear industry in 1998 by creating a line of luxury shoes that are as comfortable as they are beautiful. Her idea of being well-dressed with a sense of well-being touched a nerve with fashionable women from coast-to-coast, creating a dedicated following for her footwear collection. Formally trained as an orthopedic surgeon, Rose saw patients with many serious foot problems that were caused by fashion footwear, high heels and pointed toes. Being a lover of beautiful footwear, her own feet ached after 14-hour days in shoes with three-inch heels. In the fashion world where beauty and pain go hand-in-hand, Taryn Rose offers women the opportunity to wear exquisite footwear which is also good for their feet.

"Don't Step on my Brown Suede Shoes - The Tate is too cute for words. The rounded toe cap manages to be retro and modern at the same time. The curve of the heels makes them look a little sexier than you'd think looking at them from the front. These shoes are great with pants or a skirt. I broke out my fall clothes just to be able to wear them.My only gripe is that I wish the Taryn Rose sole was a bit more durable. For $400, I want shoes that I can go places in. I'm reluctant to wear these outdoors because they take a beating on sidewalks. For work, best to keep them in a locked drawer."

"What Size Are These Anyway?First, let me just say that I love these shoes. But I'm having a hard time finding a pair that fits. To get the size right, I looked at other pairs of Taryn Rose shoes in my closet and decided to order a 38. I felt like a 6-yr old playing dress-up in Mom's shoes. So I returned them and ordered a 37.5. Even these slip, but I am afraid that a 37 would be too small--so I am planning to put lift pads in the 37.5 to see if that solves the problem. Size consistency is the only problem I've had with any of my Taryn Rose shoes--I have 15 pairs ranging from a size 37 to a 38.5. The heels run wide on most of them."

"I Could Have Danced All Night - Okay. I don't know how these shoes would feel for dancing, because so far they haven't left my closet--but these are shoes it makes you feel GREAT just to own! The idea of 3" heels was a bit scary for someone with a neurologic disorder that affects balance, but the combination of a wide base and the internal platform make these shoes just about perfect. I didn't think I had a place to wear them...and then I got the invitation to my 30th high school reunion."
