Only concern is that they aren't quite the same brown as in the photo -- there's a slight red tint to them that I wasn't expecting. I wore them to a wedding at the Drake Hotel in Chicago with no break in time and they were very comfortable. For this price the style, quality, and comfort can't be beat."

"Shocked by the comfort - I have worn inexpensive (not cheap) shoes most of my life, but these were a revelation. I have been wearing them to "break them in" and my feet feel like they have been massaged afterwards. I may never go back to "inexpensive" shoes, which managed to make my feet hurt even when I only wore them while sitting down. These are the real thing, and I recommend them not for the style, which is wonderful, but for the comfort."

"Alternate it with a buckle tpye instead of a lace-up. Colour it grey/ash with black croc or lizard and see for yourself how it looks like.Similarly use slight elastics in place of lace or buckles on the sides for smooth fitting.What a great shoe it may look like."
