"Strange Fit - My daughter and I each tried this shoe in a whole slew of sizes, but could not get a proper fit. (It's a great looking shoe, and we really wanted it to work.) I wear a US 6 1/2W and got a close fit with the EUR 37. The problem is the placement of the arch support. While the length and width of the shoe were just perfect, the arch support is in a really odd location -- it hits at the front portion of the heel, rather than at the arch, and is VERY uncomfortable to walk in. My daughter (US 8M) found every size she tried (37, 38, 39) either too long or too short. Too bad! It's a beatiful shoe that seemed as if it would be quite cmfortable if it fit!"
