"Very happy in Boston - I found this shoe has a lot of style (and a little height!) for something this comfortable. You need to buy them just a tad large in length, as they go up and down a little like a clog. I am someone with wide feet, who can tolerate very little discomfort. This usually leaves me in the stodgy section. But these have a lot of style and height and feel fine. I wouldn't go hiking in them or anything, but I can cope with these no problem for extended periods."

"A very fine, comfortable ankle boot.I bought these in brown, and they look just like the pic here at Zappos. The fit is GREAT. Zappos' advice is sound--I wear a 9 usually and bought a 40, and the fit is flawless. The leather quality is superb and appears quite durable, as is true for every pair of Danskos I've ever bought. I did notice that the description says "lace up" but the laces are elastic, not tie-ups at all. The zip on the heel makes putting the boot on a breeze. If you're waffling on getting these, don't. Get 'em!"

Excellent comfort and leather quality, and the advice about fit (READ IT) that Zappos provided was really helpful. The new Dansko lower heel is great because it gives better ankle stability than the old original clog soles that I've had. Zappos service is absolutely amazing. I ordered several different pairs with this order, and Zappos is accurate, has great communication, and the shoes arrived before I even had a chance to sneeze."

"Nursing shoe - Have worn this to work several times now and it was comfortable right out of the box with no break-in issues...only disappointment is a few dirt marks already--would have ordered the balck ones if I had known they would mark so easy. I am a 7 or 7 1/2 shoe depending on style and i fit great into the 38; my heel is loose but not an issue to walk in. This is what they recommend and it is a very comfortable fit."

"I definitely recommend this style!I bought these shoes because my 3-yo, open-heeled, size 37 Danskos are the only pair I currently own that do not cause foot pain for me at the end of the day. I bought a pair of size 38's as recommended. For the first two days I had a blister on my smaller foot, but now they are quite comfortable. I wear them to work everyday. My husband liked them--he said they almost looked "punk" ( a huge compliment from him!) I would give these 5 stars if I hadn't got the new-shoe blister."

"Dansko and style ... what more could you want!I love these shoes. They are typically Dansko in terms of comfort and quality of workmanship. Unlike Dansko clogs, however, they look very stylish with skirts as well as pants, and I love this color. If you have a fairly wide foot, however (another reason Dansko's have always been my favorites), you might find these to be a bit snug. I'm hoping that the leather will stretch a bit with some wear."

"Delightful shoes - I love Danskos, and it is the only brand I will buy. I started with the Professional, and have branched out into sandals, etc. My point is, I thought I had reached the 'Comfort Apex' if you will, until I tried the Dansko Sport line, like this Targhee. Unbelievable comfort and style! I have the brown which is a great shade. The fit is great, if not a bit large compared to other Dansko styles. I have been setting up a trade show wearing these shoes, and feel good even at the end of the day. The casual style could take me anywhere. "
