But the shoe fits snuggly, and the back of your heel will slip out as you're walking if you order your correct shoe size. I would rec. a 1/2 larger to accomodate this problem. "Mallards - These shoes are very comfortable. The heel cup is lower than the average shoe but the fit is so good that it does not permit your heel from leaving the shoe like when you wear clogs. Your heel actually stays in the shoe when you walk."

Very comfortable and with all Born shoes those insoles do keep your feet dry. I tested these on a hot Las Vegas day as I walked the strip. I have yet to wear a sock to this day... "

"Quiz - Fit for an 11M: almost perfect. Toe room! Comfort: worn 8 hours out of the box & very comfy. Padded inside. Very stable.Style: excellentWays to improve: arch support cushy, but not real supportive. To be perfect, needs contoured arch and metatarsal support. Also, heel is a little wide. Overall, though, a fine shoe in the "athleisure" category. I'm happy with my pair."

"Born to Radshu - I wanted a shoe that could pull together something casual as well as something dress-ish, so I ordered these and the customer service and shipping far exceeded my expectations. I first put on the shoe and the inside was incredibly cushioned and everything felt good except the back upper heel part, which was stiff enough to kind of dig into my achillies tendon for the first few days of wearing them, but that's softening up and they're becoming the comfortable, easy to wear shoe's I'd hoped they would be."

Born Jeopardy

"No jeopardy involved - This shoe is extremely comfortable and while I had doubts as to whether this low cut style with with a banded instep would work on my feet, they were quickly allayed. The tenerous elastic strapping accomodates my high instep and the ultra soft cushioning of the insole and arch make this an extremely comfortable shoe to wear. Since I take a size 5.5 (36), I really can't comment on how true to size this shoe is as it had to be purchased as a size 6."
