"I love these!These shoes combine the comfort of a Birk with the more refined look of a "regular" shoe. I was looking for a really comfortable shoe that I could wear in dressier situations than I can use my Birk Zurichs. I ordered these and Birk's Avila (Architect collection). I'm keeping the Annapolis. I thought the Avilas were a little more comfortable when there wasn't something wrong with the shoe (see my Avila review), but they looked too clunky. These have a lovely look to them while still feeling comfy like Birks. As for size: I usually wear a 8.5-9, depending on the style/maker, and have normal-slightly wide feet. A 40 regular fits me perfectly. This is the size suggested in the sizing table in column 2 for sizes 8-8.5, so I'm listing this as true to size. I wear a 38 in my Zurich sandals, so I definitely needed to go up from that."

"Great Shoe For Women with size 12 or better feet...I fell in love with this shoe in the womens' version;however, I have a true size 12 foot and the womens' version was approx 1/2 size to small. I loved the look of the shoe so much, I decided to try the Medina in a size 43 narrow. I am so glad I did. This shoe looks great on my foot. I would advise one to take time and break the shoe in. I wore mine to New York without breaking them in first, and I ended up with sore toes. I wear them all the time now and have had several compliments.
